AZIMUT 3

VTOL capabilities with 4 tilt-rotors.

Lightweight, short-range reconnaissance aerial vehicle, backpack-packable, for a group of paratroopers, intervention forces, customs, and paramilitary operations. The system is portable by two people. Performance comes from an optimized aerodynamic design combined with a high-tech composite structure and very low power consumption for cruising speed.

The system can take off and land vertically thanks to its 4 vertically oriented rotors (like a multicopter), and the system transitions to conventional flight mode by rotating the rotors 90 degrees. The system is not catapulted.

Applications: Light short-range reconnaissance vehicle with vertical takeoff and landing, then flight as a motor glider thanks to its 4 rotors tilting at 90 degrees.
